From El Calafate, you can take an international bus or private transfer to Puerto Natales. The journey takes approximately 5 hours and crosses the Dorotea border crossing (Cancha Carrera / Cerro Castillo).

From Puerto Natales, Torres del Paine National Park is located about 112 km away (around 2 hours by bus).

Booking Patagonia works with Bus-Sur for regular services between El Calafate and Puerto Natales, and also arranges bus transportation from Puerto Natales to the park.

Note: To cross the border, a valid passport or ID (depending on nationality) is required. There are strict customs controls, especially regarding fresh food, so travelers are advised not to carry restricted items.
