Day by day itinerary

Day 1

The Adventure Begins

Start your day early at 7:00 a.m. by taking the bus to Laguna Amarga Entrance. Present your ticket and continue on the same bus to Pudeto, where you'll board a catamaran towards Paine Grande. As you sail the turquoise waters of Lake Pehoé, you'll be awed by the towering mountains. Upon arrival at Paine Grande, your journey continues to Refugio and Camping Grey, where you'll be greeted with breathtaking views of the Grey Glacier, a colossal ice formation stretching across the Southern Patagonian Ice Field.

Day 2

Exploring Grey Glacier

Optional but highly recommended: head to the Grey Lookout, a strategic vantage point for a closer view of the glacier. If you start your hike early, you can even venture beyond the lookout to the hanging bridges. This trail, starting from Refugio Grey, takes you over these dramatic bridges, suspended above deep valleys and lush forests, offering stunning perspectives of the glacier, floating icebergs in the lake, and the majestic Paine Massif. Both bridges provide an exhilarating experience with their gentle sway, adding a touch of adrenaline to your adventure. This segment is perfect for photography enthusiasts, offering a privileged view of Patagonia's pristine landscapes. After this unforgettable experience, return to Paine Grande for your second night, resting and recharging for the next leg of your journey.

Day 3

Hiking the French Valley

Embark on a hike through the stunning French Valley, widely regarded as one of the park's most beautiful areas. Your destination is the British Lookout, where you'll be rewarded with a 360° view of the surrounding mountains, hanging glaciers, and ancient forests. Tip: Store your luggage at the Italiano campsite to lighten your load during the hike to the lookout. After descending, choose to stay at either the French or Cuernos campsites.

Day 4

Journey to Torres Central

On the penultimate day, follow a winding trail alongside Lake Nordenskjöld, showcasing postcard-worthy landscapes with its deep blue waters and the Cuernos del Paine along your side. At the end of this stage, you'll arrive at Torres Central or Refugio Chileno, where you can rest and prepare for the grand finale.

Day 5

The legendary Torres del Paine

The climax of your adventure: the ascent to the iconic Torres del Paine, a sight that will take your breath away. If you choose to stay at Refugio Chileno, you'll have the unique opportunity to witness the towers at sunrise, bathed in a spectacular reddish hue. Finally, make your way back to Torres Central, where you'll transfer from the Welcome Center to Laguna Amarga. From there, a bus will return you to Puerto Natales, leaving you with unforgettable memories of this incredible journey.
