Day 1
Start your adventure by taking a bus at 7:00 AM from Puerto Natales to the park entrance, Portería Laguna Amarga, where you will continue your journey to Pudeto. From there, you will board a catamaran heading to Paine Grande, enjoying the stunning views of Lake Pehoe. Upon arriving at Paine Grande, you will begin your hike to Valle del Francés, culminating at the Británico Viewpoint. It is essential to complete this route before 3 p.m. as the trail closes after that hour. Tip: You can leave your luggage at the Italiano shelter to reduce the weight you will carry during the hike. At the end of the day, you will have the option to stay at the facilities of Francés or Cuernos.
Day 2
On this day, you will walk along a winding trail next to Lake Nordenskjöld, offering landscapes that seem straight out of a postcard, with deep blue waters and the Cuernos del Paine by your side. At the end of this stage, you will arrive at Torres Central or Refugio Chileno, depending on your accommodation choice.
Day 3
Today will be a great day, as you will walk until you encounter the iconic Torres del Paine. If you decide to stay at Refugio Chileno, you will have the opportunity to see them at sunrise when the sun gives them a unique reddish hue. You will spend the night at Torres Central or Chileno.
Day 4
On this day, you will head towards Serón. Along the way, you will enjoy spectacular views as you traverse an ancient Lenga forest and then venture into pristine areas. Upon arriving at Serón, you will set up your camp, ready to begin hiking the next day.
Day 5
Today you will set off on your way to Dickson, a destination that offers breathtaking views of Lake Dickson alongside its retreating glacier. With its deep blue color and the surrounding mountains, this lake is a perfect place to enjoy the serenity of the surroundings and rest while marveling at the natural beauty.
Day 6
On this day, you will head to the Los Perros camp, known for its stunning surroundings and as one of the unexplored areas of the park due to its remote location. You will enjoy a night at this camp while preparing for the next stage of your adventure.
Day 7
Get ready for the longest and most exciting day of your adventure. You will depart early from the Los Perros camp, ascending towards the Paso John Gardner. The route includes a challenging ascent, but the panoramic views of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field and the surrounding glaciers are unparalleled. After crossing the pass, you will descend to the Grey shelter, where you will spend the night.
Day 8
Finally, you will conclude your adventure by hiking back to Paine Grande, where you will take a catamaran to Pudeto. From there, you will board a bus that will take you back to Puerto Natales, thus concluding this magnificent experience in Torres del Paine.
